Verify
Run the checksum command in the folder with your downloads. Every file must say OK.

Import
Double-click each .ova, or use File, Import in Fusion. Accept the defaults.

Boot
Start the gateway, then the desktop. Pick Persistent for first boot, then set your passphrase.
shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS.txt --ignore-missingGet SHA256SUMS.txt into the same folder first.
Pick a boot mode
Amnesic
Runs from RAM. Everything is gone at shutdown. Nothing is written to disk.
Persistent
Keeps your work on the encrypted disk. Use this for first-time setup.
Build from source
One command
A guided script checks your Mac, installs what is missing, downloads two pinned files, builds, and creates both VMs.

- ✓Verifies every download against a pinned checksum

Support
Only the latest release is supported. Earlier releases get no fixes and their images are not kept. Update by downloading the latest images and starting fresh. Questions: support@ombra-os.org.
